Fire Risk Assessments are a legal requirement for all UK businesses and organisations. If you employ five or more people it must be documented and available for inspection. The basic requirement is that each organisation must identify and nominate an individual as the 'responsible person'. That person's duty is then to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to eliminate the risk of fire on the premises. The responsibility is for all the individuals that work at the premises AND visitors.
We will arrange a mutually agreeable time to visit your premises where we will carry out a thorough Fire Risk Assessment of your premises. We will then provide you with a report detailing our finding with any improvements that may be required. To request further information or a quote please click the QUOTE bar.
If you are buying or selling a flat within a block or converted property you will probably be required to provide a Fire Risk Assessment and Asbestos Survey to cover the common area of the flats. We are able to provide a rapid service and liaise with your Solicitor to speed this process up should you need us to on your behalf.
Our fire assessors can conduct the fire risk assessment on your behalf and on completion provide you with a comprehensive document, which complies with current Fire legislation.
Included in our fire risk assessment process, would be an on-site visit by a fully qualified fire risk assessor, who would conduct a full non-destructive site survey of the building or area of your responsibility to identify / assess:• Who is at risk
Following the site survey (fire risk assessment) of the Building(s) or your area of responsibility, a fire safety management plan would be produced and issued to the responsible person(s). Included within this document would be:• Documented fire risk assessment (Format British Standard – PAS 79:2012 Fire Risk Assessment)
